Blood Testing & Functional Wellness
Your Labs Say You’re Fine. You Know You’re Not.
A functional look at your bloodwork can finally connect the dots between how you feel and what’s happening inside your body.

You Left With a Clean Report and the Same Exhausted Body
You did everything right. You booked the appointment, sat in the waiting room, rolled up your sleeve. Then the call came: “Everything looks normal.”
Part of you wanted to celebrate. The other part was already wondering why you hit a wall at two in the afternoon. Why the scale ignores the work you’re putting in. Why you can sleep eight hours and still wake up feeling like you never really rested.
If that’s you, you’re not imagining it, and you’re not broken. You were handed a correct answer to a question you weren’t really asking.
“Normal” Is a Very Wide Door
Standard lab ranges are built to catch disease. They tell a clinician when something has crossed into medical territory, and that matters. But a marker can sit comfortably inside the normal range and still be drifting in a direction that explains exactly how you feel. Most of the time, no one is watching the drift.
We Read the Whole Story, Not One Line of It
As a certified Functional Blood Chemistry Analyst through Optimal DX, I look at your results the way a good detective looks at a scene. Not one clue at a time, but how they connect: blood sugar and insulin sensitivity, thyroid signals, inflammation, lipids, nutrient status, liver and kidney function, and hormones when they belong in the picture.
Alone, each number is a data point. Together, they start to answer the question you actually came with: why do I feel this way?
To be clear about what this is, it’s education and pattern recognition. It doesn’t replace your physician or a medical diagnosis. It adds a layer of understanding to information you may already have.
What Happens After the Blood Draw
You won’t walk away with a stack of unexplained numbers. We sit down together and translate everything into plain language, then tie it to your real life: how you eat, train, sleep, and recover.
If something needs a physician’s attention, we say so and help you get there. If it points to nutrition or lifestyle, it becomes part of your plan. And if a result doesn’t justify adding anything, we won’t add it just because it’s available. Then we retest, because one panel is a photograph and a trend is the story.
Who This Is For
This is for the person who’s doing “all the right things” and whose body has stopped cooperating. For the one whose last bloodwork left more questions than answers. And for the person who feels fine, but wants a real baseline before something changes.
Where It Fits in the 3 NFH Method™
Nutrition tells us what you’re giving your body. Fitness tells us what you’re asking it to adapt to. Hormone and physiological health describe the internal environment all of it is happening in. Blood testing is where those three finally meet, backed by evidence instead of assumption.
Putting It Into Practice
It starts with a conversation about how you’ve been feeling. From there we choose a panel around your goals, read it as a pattern, turn it into a few clear priorities, and retest so you can see what’s working.
What’s Included

- A comprehensive panel chosen around your symptoms and goals, covering metabolic, thyroid, lipid, inflammatory, and nutrient markers, plus hormone markers when indicated.
- FBCA Pattern Analysis
- Your results read against optimal functional ranges, not just lab “normal,” to show how your markers relate to one another.
- One-on-One Results Walkthrough
- A plain-language review connecting every finding to your nutrition, training, sleep, and recovery.
- Priorities and Referral Guidance
- A short list of next steps, with a recommendation to see a medical provider when something calls for it.
